Template policy — review before launch
This page is standard-practice scaffolding, not legal advice. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer, and it still contains placeholders that the store operator must replace with their own verified details.
Store operator: replace the placeholders, have this page reviewed by your own counsel, then set review_status to "reviewed" in its source file to remove this notice.
Business purchasing uses the same products, SKUs, and inventory as personal retail shopping. Sign in and explicitly select an approved company to view available agreement prices and quantity tiers. Company purchases follow quote request → issued quote → purchase-order approval → fulfillment and receivables. Company lines cannot create a new retail checkout. Guest checkout never carries company lines. Existing company orders remain accessible for payment, fulfillment, and after-sales service; reordering starts a new procurement request. An account with company memberships still defaults to personal shopping until a company is selected.
A membership, a price list, or an issued quote is not by itself an accepted order, an invoice, or a credit facility. Invoicing, receivables, and any agreed payment terms are recorded separately and require an authorized store representative to confirm them in writing. Platform subscription/payment records and admin credit records are separate from merchandise commerce.
Who can use company purchasing
Company pricing is visible only to signed-in users with an active membership in the selected organization. The store team controls company approval, membership status, role, price-list assignment, validity dates, and other commercial settings.
To request onboarding, use a published channel on our contact page. Include your legal organization name, operating country, business website or registration details where appropriate, expected products and volume, delivery markets, tax status, and procurement contact.
Public and contract pricing
Visitors see the active public price. After an authorized buyer signs in and selects a company, eligible products can show the applicable company price and quantity tier. Product availability, currency, minimum quantity, and price source should be reviewed before commitment.
A company price list does not guarantee stock, reserve inventory, include tax or freight, or create a binding order unless the accepted terms expressly say so. If no valid company price applies, request a quote; the public retail price is not automatically used as a company purchase price.
Quotes and purchase orders
Quotes and purchase orders are coordinated with the store team. A quote is valid only for its stated company, currency, products, quantities, validity period, and conditions. A buyer purchase order is a request to purchase; it does not override an accepted quote or bind the store until the order is accepted.
When submitting a purchase order, include the authorized buyer, billing and delivery entities, customer reference, line items, requested dates, tax information, delivery instructions, and any required document or approval reference. Conflicting terms require written acceptance.
Buyer authority and company selection
The person acting for a company confirms that they are authorized to view its prices, submit procurement instructions, and bind it where applicable. Users who belong to more than one organization must select the correct company before reviewing prices or documents.
Notify us promptly when a member leaves, changes roles, or should no longer have access. Do not share individual credentials or company-only pricing outside authorized procurement activity.
Payment, credit, and accounts receivable
Payment is due through the accepted method unless approved written credit terms apply. A credit limit, payment term, deposit, guarantee, or overdue remedy is established by an authorized credit decision recorded against the specific purchase order together with the governing agreement — never by a membership, a price list, a quote, or a platform credit entry in Admin.
The store issues invoices against accepted purchase orders and records the customer receipts, allocations, credit notes, and remaining balance for each one. Signed-in members can review the invoice, its lines, the payments allocated to it, and the outstanding balance on the purchase-order detail page in the buyer workspace. A consolidated multi-order account statement is not produced by the store; if the operator issues one through an identified external system, disputes must use the channel and terms stated on that document.
Invoices in the buyer workspace record the commercial transaction. Whether a document meets local tax-invoice or e-invoicing requirements depends on the merchant details, required fields, and any mandated issuance process; do not assume the software alone establishes tax validity.
Tax, import, and delivery requirements
Provide accurate legal entity, tax registration, exemption, importer, delivery-site, and contact information. The buyer remains responsible for destination permits, import eligibility, and charges not expressly included in accepted terms.
Freight services, Incoterms®, insurance, appointment, dock, lift-gate, inside-delivery, consolidation, and export documents must be agreed before acceptance. See the Shipping Policy.
Changes, cancellations, and returns
Cancellation or return restrictions for custom, sourced-to-order, production, or high-volume commitments must be disclosed in the quote, purchase order, or commercial agreement before acceptance. Those accepted terms govern where they differ from the public Returns & Refunds Policy, subject to rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
